Shu Lea Cheang, a multimedia artist who works in the fields of net-based installation, social interface and film production, discusses her work 3X3X6, an immersive, multidimensional mixed media installation that investigates ten cases of imprisonment due to Gender, Sexual, and Racial Nonconformity. Cheang represents Taiwan at the 2019 Venice Biennale, where she uses her work as an employment of the contemporary technologies of communication and surveillance constructs a multi-thread trans-punk-fiction scenario that reconfigures the algorithm of Gender and Sexuality in the Digital Age.
