Zoom, Teams, Meet, Slack. Who are all these fellows that are increasingly taking over our life since the pandemic began? The time has come to get to know them better, and discover the demons inhabiting them (and ourselves). How do they behave with us, and how do we behave with them? What kind of reactions do they trigger, what attitudes do they encourage? This hands-on auto-ethnographic workshop hosted by Hacker Pedagogy, C.I.R.C.E, will allow you to “know thyself – know your daimons.” C.I.R.C.E, the International Research Centre for Electric Convivialities, produces a wide range of art and educational materials and methods, from storytelling like the recently published book Internet, mon amour, to hacker pedagogy workshops, where participants are trained to question the design of digital tools, and understanding in more depth the power structures that are hidden behind.
