About

Digital Delights and Disturbances, (DDD), is a lecture series hosted by the Communications and Media Studies Department at John Cabot University in Rome, Italy.

Inaugurated in the Spring semester of 2019, Digital Delights and Disturbances serves as an intersection where issues of technology, society, and culture meet. We bring together international scholars, artists, and experts to discuss threats, promises, and challenges brought on by global digitalization and automation.

We embrace different formats, including on-site lectures, Q&A panels, multidimensional hybrid experiments, and interactive workshops.

Lectures are open to the public and streamed online on our YouTube channel.
